We are very fortunate to have both golden and sea eagles locally.
During the summer months sea eagles can be regularly seen catching mackerel near the Kylerhea ferry.
The photos of the infertile egg and the sea eagle chick were taken when accompanying RSPB staff to a nest site.
With thanks to Forestry Commission Scotland, Donny the skipper of the Kylerhea ferry and the RSPB for assisting with eagle photography.
